This week’s Neon Owl feature is trance DJ and producer Audrey Pai, or better known as Memory Loss. Memory Loss is the trance alias of DJ & Producer Audrey Pai. She has established herself within the global electronic dance music scene as one of the future’s brightest talents. Multiple Mixmag track reviews and BBC Radio1 plays under various aliases are just some of the accolades from one of Canada’s most exciting female artists.
In the short period of time she’s been immersed in the trance scene for, her releases on Go On Air Recordings, Aria Digital, Fraction Records, Alter Ego, Tangled Audio, and Komplex Sounds (Critical Fusion XPM) have support from the likes of Markus Schulz, DJ Feel, Daniel Kandi, Ben Gold, Heatbeat, Giuseppe Ottaviani, RAM, Roger Shah, Manuel Le Saux, Ian Standerwick, Photographer, ReOrder, Scott Bond, Andi Durrant, Dimension and more.
While not in the studio, her abilities to entertain on the decks with her range of trance & progressive have led to her billing alongside Markus Schulz, Ummet Ozcan, Simon Patterson, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Andy Moor, Lange, Sneijder, Photographer, and Jordan Suckley amongst others.
Memory Loss also has a monthly radio show called Bridging The Gap on the #1 voted trance station Afterhours.fm which showcases her mixing skills, focusing on the spectrum of trance music and its complimentary sounds, with featured guestmixes from DJs such as RAM, Menno de Jong, ReOrder, Adam Ellis, Solid Stone, Bjorn Akesson and more. She has made guest appearances on radio shows such as Photographer’s Edge Sessions and Giuseppe Ottaviani’s label Go On Air Recordings Podcast.
